Redesigned program structure to be less hierarchical in nature creating three regional supervisors and clinical relief / support staff.

Statewide Addictions Clinical Supervisor

ISAP Program, Vermont Department of Corrections / Phoenix Houses of NE. Provided direct clinical support to 9 outpatient addiction programs toward the following objectives: 90% of State staff involved in Intensive Substance Abuse Program (ISAP) are either apprentice or certified, development of Program Manual, supporting Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (ADAP) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Program Approval, Quality Assurance, establishing uniform assessment methods, ensuring consistent documentation procedures, treatment fidelity and consistency and training of staff.

Outdoor Columnist

Wrote a weekly column for the newspaper highlighting outdoor activities in the local area (hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing)

Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator

ISAP Program, Vermont Department of Corrections / Marathon of Brattleboro, Brattleboro, VT. Provided direct clinical services including individual assessment, group substance abuse counseling; treatment planning; discharge planning; and case management.

Instructed single- and multi- day youth programs, including ropes courses & rock climbing.

Information Technology Systems Consultant

Managed Internet presence (www.livingdemocracy.org), and computer/telecommunication systems, including installing upgrading and troubleshooting of hardware/software/local area network, and training staff. Responsible for website development / transformation of the American News Service website (www.americannews.com) from an educational site to a dynamic online publication, segregating subscriber services from visitor services and laying the foundation to provide on-line digital graphics to subscribers.

Worked with 7-member counseling team with the Drug Abuse Comprehensive Coordinating Office, Inc. in Tampa, FL to provide individual, group, & family counseling to inner city youth; collaborated with schools to identify/assess/intervene drug-involved youth.
